本覺真如

(本覺真如, 本觉真如)

The [lang id =1028]真如, i. e. (sa) bhūtatathatā, is the [lang id =1028]體 corpus, or embodiment; the [lang id =1028]本覺 is the [lang id =1028]相 or form of primal intelligence; the former is the [lang id =1028]理 or fundamental truth, the latter is the [lang id =1028]智, i. e. the knowledge or wisdom of it; together they form the whole embodiment of the (sa) buddha-dharmakāya.

本覺是眾生心的相狀， 真如是眾生心的心體。 又本覺是能證的智， 真如是所證的理， 此智與理， 就是法身如來的全體。
